The hotel is ideally located near the Skógafoss waterfall in southern Iceland, offering great views but lacking in some modern upgrades. The service was mixed, with some staff being very helpful while others were insistent on guests eating at the on-site restaurant. The dining options were simple but tasty, with smoked fish as a standout. The rooms, resembling basic college dorms, lacked amenities like TVs and phones. The facilities were adequate but in need of upgrades.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel; the rooms were spacious, and the location was perfect for nearby sightseeing. However, there were some issues with the service due to a language barrier. The dining experience was good but not as robust as expected.
